To make things a little bit easier for those of you who are looking into transitioning into a healthier, plant based diet, I have created a list of my kitchen staples! I have covered as many categories as possible, but there are many more options for you to choose from. Having a large variety of these foods and ingredients readily available in your kitchen will make clean eating so much easier and will help you to avoid all those unhealthy and processed things we crave and often snack on out of convenience! A good trick is to buy your favourite fruits and vegetables and purchase at least one new one each week so that you are keeping a variety in your diet!
All these items can be purchased from your local supermarket or health food store. I would suggest taking a weekly trip to your local market to buy your fresh produce because they are always much cheaper than supermarkets.
